Nationally Acclaimed Speaker Gian Paul Gonzalez to Deliver Keynote Address ‘All In’
SMYRNA, Ga. (Sept.16, 2026) The Heating Energy Assistance Team (HEAT), Georgia’s statewide nonprofit dedicated to helping vulnerable households meet their energy needs during times of crisis, will host its 43rd annual meeting on October 1, 2026, bringing together utility industry leaders, government officials, nonprofit executives and staff, corporate leaders, donors, community partners, HEAT board members and staff from across Georgia. The annual event will celebrate HEAT’s longstanding impact across the state while inspiring attendees to strengthen their commitment to ensuring that Georgia families have access to safe and reliable energy service.
This year’s keynote speaker is Gian Paul Gonzalez, internationally renowned public speaker, educator and executive director of Hope & Future Youth Center, whose powerful message of being “All In” has inspired audiences around the world. Gonzalez is widely recognized for motivating the New York Giants during their Super Bowl championship season with the phrase “All In,” a message that became a rallying cry for the team and has since inspired organizations, businesses, athletes, educators and leaders throughout the country.
A former NCAA First Team All-American forward at Montclair State University, Gonzalez scored nearly 1,400 points during his collegiate basketball career and went on to participate in the NBA Summer League. Although offered professional basketball opportunities, he chose instead to dedicate his life to serving at-risk youth and strengthening communities.
As founder and executive director of Hope & Future Youth Center, Gonzalez leads an organization that uses athletics and physical fitness to promote hope, resilience and excellence among young people in underserved communities and juvenile justice facilities. His inspirational presentations have made him one of the most sought-after speakers in the nation, addressing audiences that include the NBA, NFL, English Premier League organizations, Fortune 500 companies, educational institutions and community organizations. His work has been featured by ESPN, Fox News, CNN and numerous national media outlets.

Attendees will also hear about HEAT’s continued growth and impact throughout Georgia. In fiscal year 2025, HEAT provided assistance to thousands of households struggling to maintain essential utility services and continued its mission of helping vulnerable Georgians remain safely in their homes. Since its founding in 1983, HEAT has distributed more than $32 million in energy assistance to over 125,000 families throughout Georgia. These funds have helped seniors, individuals with disabilities, families with children, veterans and others facing temporary financial crisis maintain essential utility services during difficult times.
